Description: The Bhindawas Bird Sanctuary spread over 1016.94 acres is home to a range of native birds and also to a large variety of migratory birds in the period from December to January. Close to Delhi, the park can easily be covered in a couple of hours. Two watchtowers provide a vantage point to those armed with binoculars.

Best time to visit: The best time to visit Bhindawas is from December to January, when the migratory bird population is at its peak.

Accommodation: Although there is no accommodation at the park, Delhi is only three and a half hours' drive on good roads.
